“ Pis has been my favorite Chinese restaurant since I first started going there 20 years ago. I hadnt been there since before the pandemic when I recently stopped by to get takeout. I ordered three dishes ones that I had had before from their buffet, and all three of them were disappointing. The Sesame Chicken was overcooked to the point that it was hard to chew. The Pork Lo Mein had super fat overcooked and waterlogged noodles. I dont even recall what the third dish was it just wasnt memorable. I hope that it was an anomaly because Pis has always been the best. I intend on going back to have their buffet because I recall enjoying every single dish on it consistently for many years, and I want to see if it has changed. Gosh, I hope not. UPDATE My friend from Midland told me that she had heard that Pis got their old chef back. I returned and got three sensational takeout meals. I also viewed the buffet, and it looks like it used to. I love this place. Please dont ever change. ”

“ Service awesome great waitress all the servers were great. Wonderful service really on top of their game. This Sunday around 1pm. The atmosphere decent the plants really need dusting and the fountains had calcium stains vinegar baking soda an elbow grease will fix that. So its looking a little shabby. Food was good buffet was good. Food could be a little warner although I did spill a little soup so kinda glad it wasnt hot hot. Seafood delight was a delight designed shrimp made it worth every bite. Husband had sweet an sour pork he didnt care for the sweetness of the sauce so he added some spice. Fried rice I give up theres no decent real fried rice anymore its either light brown or bright yellow neither is fried rice. Egg rolls again I give up they just dont make them anymore from scratch nobody does so Im glad nobodys screwed with the crab cheese or life would be unbearable with all that said go enjoy a wonderful lunch or dinner in Midland at this little gem. ”

From the moment we walked in the door until we finished eating our waitress was very attentive and cheerful. She didnt rush us and even gave us a spot to play some cards after we ate.
